The alerts
What exactly do I get?
Real-time alerts for the timing windows in your plan. Each alert gives you the game, the bet, the line and price, a playable-to number (the worst line still worth taking) and a recommended size in units. Alerts land on your live member board and as push notifications, and a built-in tracker logs your bets. Every released pick is graded on the public record.
When does it start?
Picks release from opening night of the 2026-27 season (Nov 2) through the national championship. Founding members are invited before tip-off, so you're set up before the first alert.
How many picks should I expect?
Plenty, but never volume for its own sake. An alert goes out only when a price clears our expected-value threshold, so a packed Saturday slate can produce dozens while a quiet weeknight produces a handful. Pregame carries most of the volume; Late (All-Access only) is low-volume by design.
What is a playable-to number?
Lines move. The playable-to number is the worst line at which the pick still clears our threshold. If the market has moved past it by the time you see the alert, pass. Discipline on the number is part of the product.
How are units sized?
Each alert carries a recommended size in units, scaled to the strength of the edge and capped for risk control. You choose what one unit means for your bankroll; many bettors use 1% or less.
How do alerts reach me?
Instantly, on your member live board and as push notifications on your phone or desktop. On iPhone, add the site to your Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later) to turn on push alerts.
What sports do you cover?
NCAA Division I men's basketball, every game on the board, from the first week of the season through the postseason.
The record
Is the record real?
Yes. The public record is exactly what members received: every released pick, timestamped and graded after the final, wins and losses alike. Live tracking starts Nov 2. Results from earlier seasons are backtested and labelled that way wherever they appear.
What is closing-line value (CLV)?
CLV compares the line we released with the final line before tip. Consistently beating the closing line is the strongest evidence that a bettor's prices are better than the market's, independent of short-term wins and losses.
How do you find your picks?
Our models are proprietary, so we do not publish their inputs. We publish what matters for judging us instead: every graded result and the closing-line value of every pick, which is the best long-run test of whether an edge is real.
Do you guarantee profits?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. We sell a disciplined, priced edge and a record you can audit, not certainty. Losing nights happen to every bettor, and past results, including backtests, don't guarantee future results. Only bet what you can afford to lose.
Pricing & membership
Will the price go up?
For new members, yes. Seats open in waves; each wave has a fixed number of seats, and the next wave opens at a higher price. Your rate is locked while your membership stays active, so joining early keeps you at the lower price after later waves cost more.
What is the annual plan?
One yearly payment instead of monthly billing, and the best value: it costs less than paying month to month through the season. It renews each year at your locked rate, so you keep your price next season too. Cancel any time before the renewal date from Manage billing.
Can I get the Late window on its own?
No. Late is a low-volume window of final-hour spreads, and it's included only in All-Access, together with Pregame and Live.
Why are seats limited?
College basketball markets have limits. If too many people chase the same number, the line moves before members can get it. Capping seats keeps the playable-to numbers meaningful for the people who pay for them.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Monthly memberships can be canceled at any time, and access continues through the end of the period you paid for. Annual plans can be canceled any time before they renew; access continues through the end of the year you paid for.
Which sportsbooks should I use?
Alerts are book-neutral: you get the line, price and playable-to number, and you shop for the best available number at the legal books in your jurisdiction. We are not a sportsbook: we do not take bets or hold funds.
Who can join?
Adults 21 and older located where sports wagering is legal. Market Line Labs provides information and entertainment only; we are not a sportsbook and do not accept wagers.
Betting should stay fun. See our responsible gaming page for tools and support.
